My cable short is now tiny and I have a small gold short but I have nothiing else open. I Am now just long “sidelines” and “watching” until we get some direction. I mentioned on another site that I follow that I think the yen pairs may retrace as as the market has been chasing them higher based only on rhetoric; although I wouldn’t be short I would wait for a dip and some clearer signals. One of the best trading tips you ever get is take the money and run!! MtT

It could be triggered by slide in EUR/USD or it could trigger it. Nothing scientific just a feel. Nikkei seems to be stalling, EUR/JPY looks toppy… No position at the moment, but thinking about shorting EUR/JPY or USD/JPY in a day or two.

A big move might be coming but I have no idea about which way it will head …….or…..what news item might trigger the move.

The EURX daily chart is interesting. It has been a bit of a measure of ‘risk appetite’ of late. It looks to be in a bull flag pattern and biding its time BUT anything can happen.
