do you think the reduced volatility in FX is a consequence of the reduced volatility in interest rates? Certainly the changes in the actual financial sector you spoke about in your webinar time ago have influenced the market structure a little, but are there fundamental reasons like ZIRP and QE that keep interest rates in check, that may be doing all this to FX? I make this case by looking at NZD vs the world and to some extent Aud vs the world. The only hawkish central banks have seen their currencies go wild this year…

I’m trying to adjust myself for longer time frames – analyzing , building positions with farther away targets in mind , managing risk . I’ve been somewhat successful in identifying longer trends but failed to take advantage of the whole move or even half. I think being right for longer is better than trying to be right more often…
