I think usd/jpy could see 100 again fairly soon and cable could see 166, so thats big move in cross. Unlikely that big moves will happen pre BoE unless somethg spooks those positions you mentioned

I took a short side trade on GBP/JPY last week liking the mkt set up (which I reason is long GBP/USD and long USD/JPY). But I am aware it is just a squeeze type trade.
