It’s all okay to try and guess the mkt direction but how much should we have on a particular trade, where to put a stop, when to add etc etc. They don’t tell us any of the really important stuff! We can get the direction by flipping a coin 🙂

You’ve got the price near 1.3025 on EUR/USD ;-). This post reminds me, a trade idea on EUR/AUD when I wanted to short at 1.2870 with tight stop but the stars weren’t aligned to jump in with the right timing. Maybe it’s difference between strategists and traders, like theory and real life.

I picked the one which was showing higher levels. NFP did not allow that. Thanks God I was short EUR/GBP since I was expecting GBP higher. Even though GBP dropped, EUR dropped more than GBP and that saved me. The analysis showing GBP lower at that time is also showing AUD/USD top just below 1.04. For EUR/AUD I was expecting higher because of the weekly inverse H&S.
