Even in commodities space cad is weak, aud is strong… Dax at top, while europe in recession. Market is bipolar, that is indicative of something not pleasant brewing. The problem is, I do not understand or see the writing on the wall.

It looks insane. It has broken up from recent flat consolidation, indicating tha the same could be in store for JPY. Given that favorite trade at the moment is Texas hedge of short JPY and long Nikkei, i would be weary of any long jpy strategy until Nikkei at lest slows down. Anyway it is just my feel. equities are on fire and I wonder whether animal spirits with respect to Japan has woken up. If it is so, may be Usd/JPY 200 is closer than I imagine.
