I remember selling AUD/NZD well above 1.30 a couple of years back, but lacked the patience to see it through and stopped out for a loss.

Now I’ve got the feeling vice versa with the pair well below 1.10. Not sure what the long term average is but medium to long term it’s hard not to imagine the pair returning to levels around 1.15-1.20. I don’t intend to start immediately, but below 1.00 and I’d definitely be trading some Kiwis for Tasmanian Devils. Conversely the weaker Aussie dollar should start to work in the Aussie economy’s favour.

This pair is definitely a big range trade, if only I were a commodities guru I’m sure I could work out the timing much better.
